We've made it to Kickstarters "Projects We Love"!
First and foremost, I would like to sincerely thank our backers who are here reading, commenting, and supporting us throughout this journey! Secondly, I'd like to toast to every one of our supporters as this was a team effort. Well done team! We've made it to Kickstarter Projects We Love! On to other news. We've been hearing that Social Stretch Goals are due to appear right about now. We've given it some thought and careful considerations as to what could benefit our backers with Social Stretch Goal. As you know, we're avid comment readers and we do love to input your idea's into our work. We've been hearing from a lot of you that Spot UV would look amazing on our box. So...

Then press the bright red heart ❤ which shows us you're a fan! When that count reaches 500, SPOT UV on the boxes will be unlocked!

Before I end this announcement, attention to all our Indonesian Backers! We have a quick update regarding shipping. Shipping to Indonesia has increased from $30 to $45! However, the amount paid by the backer will ultimately be the same. If we send the product to Indonesia via EMS, it will cost $30, but there will be customs due locally. In this case, because it is nonfriendly shipping, a tariff of $15 is incurred, and there is a hassle that the backers have to endure having to handle the customs directly.
Shipping to Indonesia via VFI Asia will cost $45. However, friendly shipping is possible, so there are no additional charges that need to be paid when you receive the product. However, shipping via VFI Asia means longer hub transit from VFI to Indonesia.
As costs were ultimately the same, we preferred and choose to ship the product via VFI rather than EMS so that Backers will be able to receive their product more conveniently.
To end our update, the fun fact for today will feature the Giraffe.

We've unlocked the First Player Marker Meeple!
We now have a sturdy, easily maintainable First Player Marker in our hands.
We did see some feedback about adding animals to the First Player Marker Meeple so we gave it try! We're in a bit of a pickle though. We designed it, so we love them all! But which is your favorite?

Double-Sided Game Board UNLOCKED!

The Double-Sided Game Board has been UNLOCKED!
Which would mean more replayability so I'm super excited for this upcoming Stretch Goal!
As I've mentioned in my last update, the backside of the board is still under playtesting. As soon as we have our finalized idea I'll be back to share the news.
Now on to our next Stretch Goal, the Additional First Player Marker Meeple. I've been in the comments and it seems this is not a popular one.😢 So we decided to decrease the "stretch" amount from 10,000 to 5000.
We've received multiple feedbacks from various platforms that the cardboard First Player Marker looks a bit weak to stand in for a prolonged period of time. So, this was our way of solving/supplementing this issue. We see it as a good necessity for the game.
As we've mentioned before, we're truly taking in backer input to bring back better Stretch Goals!

Ostrich Meeple & Specialist Card UNLOCKED! + New Rulebook Cover

The Ostrich meeple and the specialist card to follow along have been unlocked and added to the Promo Pack. Hurray!
A good-looking Ostrich Meeple will now be joining our Wild family! We're still in the midst of playtesting so all details concerning the Specialist Card and how the Ostrich Meeple will come into play will be shared at a later time. So stay tuned!
Okay, so on to our next Stretch Goal, the Double-Sided Game Board.
The base game uses 168 Scene Cards that are aligned with the existing base map design. Therefore, the challenge for us this stretch goal will be to design a map that will provide itsown unique gameplay experience while still using the existing Scene Card deck. Our team is currently testing several ideas and I'll be back to share the design with everyone, once it's complete.

In honor of unlocking our newest Ostrich Meeple, I thought I'd share with you a Fun Fact about Ostriches to end today's update.
Did you know that with their long powerful legs, Ostriches can run almost 70km or about 43 miles per hour? A single stride is known to be almost 5 meters!
2 Scene Cards Unlocked! & Cloth Pouch Votes Reveal

The 2 Scene Card Stretch Goal was unlocked! Yay!
As we know one of the long-awaited 75,000 Stretch goal is getting close!
Like our Hippo, our Ostrich meeple will also be accompanied by a specialist card. Once that 75,000 stretch goal is unlocked an Ostrich meeple and a Specialist card will be added to the Promo Pack.

In other news, here are the results from our Cloth Pouch design voting session that we held this past weekend!
A total of 272 backers participated and we would like to thank each and every one of you for participating!
The design that received the most votes was..... No.4 the Zebra!! Yay!
On to the details, even though #4 our Zebra has won 1st place, there was some feedback we received and we wanted to incorporate them. So back to voting! Hope you guys don't mind.😅
Numbers 1 and 2 are new ideas we received from backers.
1. This is the same Zebra Meeple from Wild: Serengeti. No background, simple, and clean.
2. We've mixed in a few ideas from our lovely backers. Leopard print with a nice coloring. We're not able to print the entire pouch in this print due to cost issues.😢 But a beauty nonetheless.
Now, we modified the 3rd and 4th one by altering the square a bit because there was quite a few feedback from our backers saying that the rectangle was a bit off-putting.
3. Number 3, a great shot of the whole Zebra with a nice backdrop. Love it!
4. The design that won!
Now it's time to vote. Pick your favorite out of the 4, for what you think would fit best on our cloth pouches!
